Day 159 – 163 Esperance

Where do you find the best and whitest beaches in Australia? According to the shire of Esperance, it’s in Esperance. And the beaches where indeed covered with sand almost as white as snow and the water was indeed crystal clear. To name a few of the beaches we visited (all equally jaw dropping); Twilight Beach, Blue Haven, and Salmon Beach.

Beaches are the main attraction in Esperance, that’s for sure, but we also paid the Lucky Bay Brewing Company a visit to try out some local flavours (which were pretty tasty we should add). We also went to the Cape Le Grande National Park for a climb to the top of the Frenchmans peak and to feel the sqeaking sand between our toes at Lucky Bay beach (a stunning beach on its own, but with way to many cars parked on that pearly white sand).

After four nights in Esperance, and with a new mental image bank of picture-perfect beaches, it was time for departure.
